In the scope of the energy transition required to continue human activities as a society and at the same time to grant the survival of species, lies the estimation of the effects that all processes have on global emissions as well as the ways to reduce them to achieve the necessary balance on our planet.
Sustainable development becomes a priority and a common activity in all spheres of human life. The CYTED program (Science and Technology for Development) seeks to ensure that the actions developed under its umbrella meet this shared goal. The RITMUS, TRAPECIO, RIMSGES, CITIES, RIBEPA, and IBEROMASA networks will lead a CYTED networks meeting within the framework of the NEXUS International Conference.
This conference address the challenge of the NEXUS Agenda which, in the context of the PRR European program, will produce an ecosystem of 31 products and services for the Digital and Green Transition in the multimodal transport sector applied to the Seaport of Sines. During this conference, the CYTED networks investigators are invited to present their research advancements and disseminate their work related to sustainability. It is a key moment that can contribute to this “global crusade.”
